17th March 2010 - AGM

It's that time of year again, and as you have been informed, the AGM is on Wednesday 17th March in Sports Hall 2 from 7:30pm (the last half hour of training for that session). If you are a member of the society, please come and vote for the people you want to represent you next year, as we need at the very minimum 20 people for the AGM to happen. No experience is required for the positions themselves, and if you are willing to put some time in to it you will learn some useful and important skills, that will help you out in the "real world" (i.e. CV). For doing this, commitee members also get free lessons, which is pretty good. Members can run for any position, but only once. Thanks, and hope to see you there on Wednesday.

21st November 2009 - Lesson Cancelled and Social

Unfortunatly, this saturday's training session (saturday the 21st November) has been cancelled due to the university needing the sports hall. Fortunatly for us, a social has been organised in its place. This social is a trip to the cinema to see "The men who stare at goats" and we will be seeing it at the The Vue cinema in The Light Complex. We will be meeting there at 3pm for 3:30 showing, hope you can make it.

22nd Novemeber 2009 - Incorrect Information

The Taekwondo seminar detailed previously was (through fault entirely my own) wrongly billed as being in Bradford Sports Centre. This is a lie, and it is in fact going to be held in Aireborough Leisure Centre. This is the Facebook Page which has full information and the original post can be found below (with the right venue). Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

30th October and 7th November - Combined Classes and First Social

Greetings to all. As of Friday the 30th of October the beginners and seniors classes will be merged in to one 2 hour class, so for all the beginners, training now starts an hour earlier (the times are listed to the left).
And in other news, the first big social of the year (hurrah!) will be held on Saturday 7th of November, starting at 5pm in Woody's. The theme of the social is "Drink your name", so wear a (cheap) white t-shirt with your name written on it, and for every letter of your name, drink something that begins with that letter, and then write down on the t-shirt what you drank. It promises to be a great time, so don't miss out. See you there...
